Real Food Films

When we launched Real Food Films, an international competition for short films on food, farming, and sustainability, we had a hunch that there were amazing stories—and gifted storytellers—that would submit powerful content. (We also secretly worried we might just be inundated with paeans to artisanal mayonnaise. Luckily, we were proven wrong.) The response knocked our socks off: over the course of three years, we received 440 film submissions from 34 states and 31 countries. Communities worldwide also hosted Pop-Up Film Fests, totaling more than 350 from Romania to Omaha.

We’ve collected the best of the bunch for you to view online, share, and use in community events, classrooms, workshops, and conferences. The more than 70 films featured in our online library have inspired people around the world to learn more about critical issues at the heart of our food system and to get active in new ways to build the food system we need.

Thanks to our fantastic judges, advisors, media partners, school ambassadors, and allies.
