Join Anna and Frances to celebrate 40 years of Food First exploding myths and inspiring change. Food First is hosting a fundraiser event on World Food Day featuring a program with food movement leaders, live performances, silent auction, dinner, dessert, and dancing. This is an important event to gather our community and new friends and allies to learn more about Food First’s work, history, and supporters.

Local Oakland Artivist Jennifer Johns,
Youth Speaks poets from The Bigger Picture
Author, activist, academic and Food First Fellow Raj Patel
Food First co-founder Frances Moore Lappé and
Executive Director Eric Holt-Giménez
