Privacy Policy

Real Food Media is committed to protecting your privacy when visiting our website.

When you make an online donation to Real Food Media, we use a secure server and encryption to protect your financial and personal information during transmission. We do not save or store your credit card information when processing a one-time contribution. For recurring contributions, we use a secure server where your credit card information is encrypted and stored.

Any additional identifying information we may ask for—such as your name, address, zip code, email, interests, or subscription preferences—is used solely for the following purposes: internal recordkeeping; improving our materials and programs; and sending you customized emails about the topics and activities that interest you. We will never sell your information.

On occasion, we may exchange mailing lists with closely-related social justice organizations whose mission and values align with our own. If you do not wish your contact information to be used in this way, please contact us at info@realfoodmedia.org.

The Real Food Media website contains links to content on external websites. Please note that we cannot be responsible for protecting the privacy of any information you share once you have left our website.

Creative Commons/Distribution Policy

Real Food Media resources are meant to be shared far and wide—and for free. Except where otherwise noted, content on this site is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International. Under this license, you are free to copy and redistribute the material (for non-commercial purposes only) and with attribution to Real Food Media as well as the author/filmmaker who created the content. Please note that sharing any of the Real Food Films or other resources at a fundraiser for your project or organization is not something we consider “commercial use” and is fine within the guidelines of the license (in fact, we encourage it!). The only real caveat with this license is that if you modify the material (reports, films, or other resources) in any way by remixing, transforming, or building upon them, you may not distribute the modified material. If you have questions about any of this though, we’re happy to hear what you’re hoping to use it for, field any questions, and see what we can do. Drop us a line if so at info@realfoodmedia.org.
