First published by Houghton Mifflin in 1962, Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring alerted a large audience to the environmental and human dangers of indiscriminate use of pesticides, spurring revolutionary changes in the laws affecting our air, land, and water.

Sixty years later, amidst growing awareness and increasing climate concerns the struggle continues. Stay tuned for a series of events and publications highlighting the ongoing impacts of pesticide use, misinformation from the agrochemical industry, and the tireless and inspiring work activists around the world have been engaging in to keep our communities safe.
